Bay Wind Community Band’s Christmas Concert
Get in the spirit of the season with an array of Christmas tunes at Bay Wind Community Band’s Christmas concert. The concert will be held at Florida State University’s Panama City branch on December 7th from 7 to 8 p.m.. In lieu of purchasing tickets, please bring an unopened toy to donate to Salvation Army!
Strolling Dickens Carolers
Enjoy Christmas carolers from 6 to 9 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday through December 23rd. Fans of A Christmas Carol will love the quartet’s Dickens-inspired attire! The carolers will be strolling through Pier Park North (north of Back Beach Road).
Optimist Club Christmas Parade
Don’t miss out on Panama City Beach’s annual Optimist Club Christmas Parade in Pier Park on December 8th! Enjoy a variety of marching bands, decorated floats, fire trucks and custom cars as they parade through Pier Park. The parade will start at 5 p.m. at the main entrance by Margaritaville and will end at Target. Candy will be handed out by the parade walkers!
Bethlehem Christmas Village
The 6th annual Bethlehem Christmas Village will be open at Capt. Anderson’s Marina from December 12th-15th. The free event, which is open to the public, will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. nightly. Storytellers will replicate the town of Bethlehem and perform a live Nativity scene. While you walk through Bethlehem, enjoy live music from local school choirs from Mosley, Surfside, West Bay and Lucille Moore, take pictures of your little one with the live animals at the petting zoo, and purchase food and gifts from the vendors.
Breakfast With Santa
The Shrimp Boat Restaurant will be hosting Breakfast with Santa on December 15th from 9 to 11 a.m. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet of traditional fare, plus a Build Your Own Waffle station that is sure to be a hit with the whole family. After you take photos with Santa, make sure your little ones tell him their Christmas list! The Shrimp Boat is located in Historic St. Andrews at 1201 Beck Ave, Panama City, FL 32401.
Elf Screening at Oaks By The Bay
Four Winds Church is sponsoring a free, public screening of the Christmas-classic Elf from 6-8 p.m. on December 14th at Oaks By The Bay Park. Make sure to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on! Hot chocolate will be provided by the Native Spirit Museum and Gallery. While it’s unlikely that there will be a real snow storm, at least there will be a snow machine during the movie to set the winter mood!
