Camp Helen State Park Fall Festival
October 6, 2018
Enjoy the beauty of Camp Helen State Park at their Fall Festival on October 6th from 11:00 am-4:00 pm. The free event will include hay rides, pony rides, live music, food and games. While the event is free, donations will be accepted in support of Camp Helen’s projects and programs. Due to limited parking onsite, there will be a free shuttle from the Winn Dixie located on the corner of US 98 and Front Beach Road. Camp Helen will also be selling pumpkins 7 days a week for the month of October from 9:00 am-4:00 pm.

Oktoberfest
October 12-14, 2018
Located on the beautiful Aaron Bessant Park in Pier Park, Oktoberfest has become one of Panama City Beach’s most popular fall events. The festival starts on Friday, October 12th and will continue through the weeknd for beer and brat enthusiasts alike. Festival participants will enjoy listening to a selection of live music and participating in the Tug of War, Stein Hoisting and Brat Toss events that are scheduled sporadically throughout the weekend. Oktoberfest is a family-friendly event (kids 12 and under are free!), and there are a variety of activities to keep the kids entertained such as corn hole, face painting, photo booths and a Kids Bounce and Slide Zone.

Gulf World Celebrates Halloween
Gulf World Marine Park has a variety of Halloween events and shows for the month of October. Wicked Wednesday, an after-hours event held from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm on October 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th. This brand-new event features a haunted house, glow-in-the-dark dance party and kids activities. Gulf World also has Halloween events during normal operating hours that are included in daily admission. Your little ones will love being able to meet a mermaid from 10:00 am-1:00 pm during Mermaid Mondays. Pro tip: dress like a mermaid for a special discount! Face painting and kids activities will also occur from 10:00 am-1:00pm on Witches Wednesdays. And don’t miss out on the daily Halloween themed shows such as the Hocus Pocus Dolphin Show!

Spirits of St. Andrews Bar Haunt

Cross the bridge and head into the beautiful Historic St. Andrews area in Downtown Panama City for a night of fun and drinking during the Spirits of St. Andrews Bar Haunt from 5:30-9:00pm. Purchase a Book of Spells and follow the list to visit all of the participating bars. Each bar will have a “spirit” cocktail to enjoy that is featured in the Book of Spells. In addition to the Bar Haunt, there will be a costume contest and door prizes. The Book of Spells is available for sale at the Panama City Publishing Museum beginning in early October. The Spirits of St. Andrews Bar Haunt will kick off with a Halloween march down Bay View Avenue (beginning at Gateway Park) at 5:30 pm. In addition to the local bars, restaurants such as Barefoot On The Bay and The Shrimp Boat will also be participating.

Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally
October 24-28, 2018
Thunder Beach’s Autumn Rally begins with a Kick-Start Party at Hammerhead Fred’s on October 24th and concludes on Sunday, October 28th. Register for the three Poker Runs that will occur over the Rally at the following places: Sharky’s (Thursday), Hooters (Friday), and Hampton Inn (Saturday). Make sure to check out Thunder Beach’s website for more information on events such as the Sgt. Kevin Kight Memorial Bike Parade, Miss Thunder Beach Competition, Ms. Thunder Beach Competition and Circus Una. Rock out to live music at one of Thunder Beach’s two music stages: Crossroads at SeaHaven and the Main Stage at Frank Brown. Jasmine Cain, Black Stone Cherry, Quiet Riot and more will be performing throughout the weekend.
